Time After Time

Often, I wonder about the past.
Often, I wonder about the future.
Never, I wonder about the present.

A blank gaze. Blanked out.
Lethargic and blurred.

Howling breeze begins to haunt.

Something in the eye.
Eyes, laved.

I’ll
slowly      climb
the                     mount
little               by                 little.
