If you could zoom through space in the speed of light, what place would you go to right now?
Today’s twist: organize your post around the description of a setting.
It was 5 AM and Serena was utterly unaware which route she was heading for the past hour. Her life was like the weaverbird’s nest swarming with indecisiveness. She turned on the radio which immediately played “Who Knows Where The Time Goes” cover by Eva Cassidy and she just drove. She drove till a dead end which was a garden. Serendipity is a wonderful thing.
The garden had a tiny hut located near it. The garden was empty and it looked surreal since it was not yet dawn. Reluctantly, Serena entered the hut and found it quite cozy and tranquil. There was a tiny bookshelf to the right of the door and a stove with other equipment opposite it lying on the wooden table. There was a settee near the window. Serena seated herself picking “The Time Machine” by H.G. Wells and drinking the tea she made sip by sip. She could hear the birds chirping and the slight drizzle of the rain. She peeked outside. The dawn broke and sunlight made way through the clouds. It was a room with a view.
